Central Windward lift Zonal U-15 Cricket title 

Central Windward beat North Leeward by five wickets on Tuesday at the Arnos Vale One Playing Field, to win the St Vincent and the Grenadines Cricket Association Inc Zonal Under-15 Cricket competition.

 North Leeward were dismissed for 67 off 21.5 overs. Kirtney Franklyn was the top scorer with 15 not out.

 Bowling for Central Windward, Coby Dabreo took 4 for 28, Irvin Warrican Jr, 2 for 9 and Kimani Husbands, 2 for 11.

 Central Windward responded with 71 for 5 from 17.2 overs. Handel Roban scored 28 not out, while Kirtney Franklyn took 3 for 16.

 North Leeward’s O’ Jay Matthews was the Most Valuable Player of the competition. He scored the most runs – 263 and took the most wickets – 12.

Kyle Bowens of North Windward was voted the Best Wicketkeeper.

The Zonal Under-15 competition is a forerunner to St Vincent and the Grenadines’ preparations for the Windward Islands Under-15 Tournament, to be hosted here in December.
