Economic Planning take Inter-Ministerial Netball title

The Ministry of Economic Planning, last Wednesday at the Girls’ High School hard court, copped the 2016 Public Service/Inter-Ministerial Netball competition, doing so in fine style.{{more}}

Economic Planning had to come from behind to oust the Ministry of Health and the Environment in the final. The Ministry of Health and the Environment led in the first quarter 15-13, but Economic Planning took over in the second quarter 27-22 and in the third quarter 41-34 and ran out 51-43 winners.

Skiddy Francis-Crick, who played in her customary goal shooter’s position, led the scoring for Economic Planning with 45 goals, supported by goal attacks Special Da Silva and Floret Byron, who both contributed 3 goals each.

Goal attack Acosa Horne was the leading scorer for the Ministry of Health with 30 goals, while goal shooters Maxine Cottle with 8 goals and Sydney Charles with 5, were responsible for their team’s final tally.(RT)
