Then, on Sunday, Mustique carried it to the end, but came away winners by one run against the lawmen at Arnos Vale One.

Mustique scored 85 for 7 off 15 overs, as the match was reduced because of rain. Lenford Hooper was the top scorer with 20, while Elgin Richards and Elmore Alexander scooped 2 for 16 and 2 for 18, respectively.

RSVG Police stopped short of their target, stifled at 84 for 9 off 15 overs. Jeffery La Borde stroked 28.

Michael Charles had 3 for 13 and Felix Greaves 2 for 6, as Mustique made it two wins in a row. On the other hand, Sion Hill suffered their second loss, going under to North Leeward also at the Sion Hill Playing Field on Sunday.

When Sion Hill batted, they were stymied to reach 81 for 9 from their 15 overs. Joseph Carrington’s 24 was the lone score of note for Sion Hill, as Angus Cyrus snapped up 4 for 21, bowling for North Leeward.

The two other victors on the weekend were J G & Sons Glamorgan who defeated Kirk Da Silva’s La Croix by 9 wickets at Park Hill on Saturday and on Sunday, 2014 champions- North East stopped Bequia Association Masters by 111 runs at the Clive Tannis Playing Field in Bequia.
