Zefal Bailey, Randy Wilkinson stretch lead on challengers
Zefal Bailey and Randy Wilkinson again ran out winners in the latest calendar event of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Cycling Union, staged last Sunday afternoon.{{more}}
The duo, who have been bosses for most of the races this year, took the Argyle to Biabou circuit in fine style.
After completing six laps of the circuit, Bailey was the first to cross the finish line in the elite segment.
His winning time was two hours 26 minutes 59 seconds. Bailey beat his lone challenge Enroy Lewis by some distance. Lewis stopped the timer at two hours 32 minutes 59 seconds.
There were also only two competitors in the masters category, with Wilkinson finishing ahead of Steve Ollivierre by over 13 minutes.
Wilkinsonâs time was two hours 09 minutes 54 seconds, while Ollivierreâs was two hours 23 minutes 50 seconds.(RT)
