Those which were triumphant were Alcoholics, Bank of SVG All Stars, Dr Thomas Injectors, and Rate Yo Boys Challengers.

On Saturday, Alcoholics registered 173 against Young Stars. Cuthbert Springer, 57, and Mc Neil Morgan, 38, being the main scorers. Winston Bonadie took 2 for 28 and Wilmur Harry, 2 for 49.

Young Stars crashed to 90 all out, with Eric Hutchinson scoring 32.

Bowling for Alcoholics, Ronald Scott had 3 for 15, Cuthbert Springer, 3 for 20, while Mc Neil Morgan and Ozico Williams had 2 for 9 and 2 for 17, respectively.

Then, All Stars slammed Ottley Hall by 96 runs in Saturday’s second match.

Ron Adams stroked 66, to pilot All Stars to 147 for 6 from their 20 overs. Ottley Hall’s most successful bowlers were Tyson Gerald, 3 for 18, and Dave Roberts, 2 for 33.

Ottley Hall‘s reply ended at 51, as Dave Williams, 4 for 4 and Kelly Murray, 2 for 2, crafted Bank of SVG All Stars’ big win.

On Sunday, Dr Thomas Injectors had double wins, as they had back-to-back matches.

Injectors posted 131, with Desron Lavia getting 32. Bowling for Richmond Hill, Collin Lee took 3 for 27 and Justin Lee, 2 for 34.

Richmond Hill were undone by the bowling of Tex Franklyn, 5 for 16; Philroy Ashton, 2 for 2 and Kesron Ashton, 2 for 16, as they fell for 71.

In Injectors’ other match, they had it harder, eeking out a two-wicket win over Smart Strikers.

Philroy Ashton snapped 5 for 14 and Ronnick Daniel, 3 for 11, to dismiss Smart Strikers for 85.

But Dr Thomas Injectors laboured to 86 for 8; Julian Mc Nichols made 22.

Brenton Scott, 3 for 14 and Joelan Malcolm, 3 for 31, threatened to bowl Smart Strikers to victory.

And, Rate Yo Boys Challengers defeated Rising Stars by three wickets.

Ricky King, 22, and Keroy Roberts, 20, saw Rising Stars to 90 for 6. Lawrence Kydd had 2 for 18 and Cameron Fraser, 2 for 19, bowling for Rate Yo Boys Challengers.

In response, Rate Yo Boys Challengers reached 91 for 7. Lawrence Kydd saw his team over the line with 38 not out. Andrew Glasgow collected 3 for 12 and Keroy Roberts, 2 for 7, in a losing cause for Rising Stars.

Another five matches are set for this weekend at the same venue.
