Deron Greaves blasts T/20 ton for ASCO
Deron Greaves plundered a century â 101 not out, to lead Carl Joseph Law Chambers ASCO to a 199-run win over French Verandah St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College at the Sion Hill Playing Field, last Saturday, as the National Lotteries Authority Neil Williams Twenty/20 Cricket Competition intensified.{{more}}
Greaves, a left-handed opening batsman, used his power to belt five fours and 10 sixes in his knock.
Joining Greaves in the fest with 89 was Desron Maloney, who stroked four fours and nine sixes and Ronnique Laborde injected 30.
Bowling for the SVGCC, Dario Glasgow took 2 for 40 and Tijourn Pope â 2 for 43.
SVGCC were dismissed for 60; Dario Glasgow made 24. Andre Hunte scalped 5 for 16 and Antonio Barker â 3 for 15, as ASCO won their third match on the trot.
Also rollicking to a comfortable win at the Sion Hill venue was the News Spartans, who overcame Victors Two by 62 runs, in the afternoon fixture.
Spartans, with good contributions from Kurtland Lavia â 65 and Seon Sween â 54, posted 182.
Bowling for Victors Two, Kishore Shallow snared 3 for 29 and Leon Samuel 3 for 49.
Victors Two were cornered by the bowling of Kurtney Davy â 3 for 34; Kurland Lavia â 2 for 13, Kentish Bascombe â 2 for 21 and Teran Simon â 2 for 24 , to fold for 120.
Adinol Ollivierre led Victors Twoâs response with 30.
And, at Arnos Vale Two, Lime Radcliffe registered a seven-run win over iShallz Byamâs Physical Therapy.
Romano Pierre top scored with 44; Rodney Lawrence hit 32 and Westrick Straugh â 26, to lead Radcliffeâs total of 149 for 7 from their 20 overs.
Leon Quashie had 2 for 26 and Calbert Springer â 2 for 36.
In reply, iShallz Byam Physical Therapy fell for 142; Javid Harry got 32 and Rawdon Bentick â 26.
Dyke Cato â 2 for 23 and Othneil Lewis â 2 for 32 were the main wicket takers in Radcliffeâs win.(RT)
