N2P retain National Juvenile Championships

The Layou-based Negative 2 Positive (N2P), for the third year in succession, has pouched the National Juvenile Championships, one of the annual activities of Team Athletics SVG.{{more}}

Staged at the Arnos Vale Two Playing Field recently, N2P outdid the other contenders in both divisions, tallying 447 points.

In topping the segments, N2P’s males contributed 247 and the females 200.

Trailing N2P was the Buccament Government School, with an overall tabulation of 252 and third was System Three – 135 points.

N2P also pocketed most of the individual accolades.

N2P’s Jakeim John – 16 points – was the Under-7 male champion and Anna Miller, also with 16 points – the female winner.

The Under-9 division was pouched by N2P, through the efforts of Darson Joseph and Khiadre Lynch, who were the male and female champions respectively. The N2P duo compiled 23 points each.

Taking the Under-11 male division was Zarchery Durham of the Buccament Government School with 17 points and the System Three’s Almarie Providence – 18 points, the female top performer.

Tyreke Bushay of N2P contributed 29 individual points to champ the male Under-13 category and Grandesha Caine of System Three was the female champion with 21 points.

And, the Under-15 division’s winners were Rasheed Fontenella of the St Vincent Grammar School and Zamesha Myle, who on the day represented the Buccament Bay Government.

Fontenella put together 16 points and Myle 23 points.
