NLA First Division cricket competition rolls on

Ruddy’s Electrical Unique Warriors defeated Belfongo by 14 runs at Arnos Vale One, as the National Lotteries Authority 50-Overs Sunday Cricket League continued last weekend at various venues.{{more}}

Unique Warriors made 206 all out in 38.4 overs. Bill Edwards top scored with 69.

Raffique Williams took 3 for 29, Vennardo Primus 2 for 53 and Rajiv Roberts 2 for 18, bowling for Belfongo.

In response, Belfongo were 192 all out in 39.2 overs. Emmanuel Quashie, 46, and Stein Joseph, 30, were the prime batsmen for Belfongo.

At the Sion Hill Playing Field, Police One, who were demoted from the Premier Division, beat the 2014 First Division winners Ishallz Byam’s Physical Therapy by 71 runs

Police One were 176 all out in 40.5 overs. Peter Morris 33, Sylvan Spencer, 32. Bowling for Ishallz’s Physical Therapy, Leon Quashie bagged 4 for 42, Romano Charles 3 for 23 and Mickel Mapp 2 for 35.

Ishallz Byam’s Physical Therapy, who opted to remain in the lower division, replied with 105 all out in 31 overs. Mikel Mapp hit 29, as Vertil Davis grabbed 6 for 33, Sylvan Spencer 2 for 28 and Parnel Browne 2 for 19.

At Stubbs, Radcliffe Too brushed aside Victors Two by 131 runs.

Radcliffe Too made 256 all out in 31.5 overs. Mikron McDonald agonizingly fell for 99, and Kemron Quashie hit 46.

Bowling for Victors Two, Adinal Richards took 5 for 52, Wesley Simmons 2 for 46 and Kishore Shallow 2 for 61.

Victors Two in reply were 115 all out in 26 overs. Wesley Simmons was 32 not out; Kenson Dalzell had 2 for 17.

At Buccament, Combined Youths smashed Robertson Surveying Belmont by 190 runs.

Combined Youths posted 272 for 6 off 40 overs. Elton Joseph was 70 not out, Oneil Endeavour – 58, Shane Roberts – 41 and Javid Cordice – 34. For Belmont, Augustus Medford snared 3 for 44. Belmont were dismissed for 82 in 31 overs. Nickie Antoine took 5 for 24 and Shane Roberts 2 for 13.

Two matches are carded for this Sunday, as the competition rolls on. Georgetown Combined and Ishallz Byam’s Physical Therapy meet at Arnos Vale Two, and Victors Two engage Prime Consulting Marriaqua at Buccament.
