Mapp plots century in TBPO softball cricket

Asquith Mapp carried the world on his shoulder for Bank of SVG All Stars, when he hit an even 100 not out, to lead his team to 149 for 6 in 20 overs, last Sunday at the Dauphine Playing Field in the National Lotteries Authority Top Belair Progressive Organisation Twenty/20 competition.{{more}}

In reply, Smashers reached 101 all out in 16.3 overs; Zyron Harry top scored with 33. Bowling for All Stars, James De Freitas took 3 for 14 and Brenton Arrindell 2 for 21. RSVG Police silenced Shot Callers by 17 runs.

Police batted first and made 83 for 8 in 15 overs. Bowling for Shot Callers, Vendcliff Primus had 2 for 14 and Jayvon Jack and Jabari Guy both secured 2 for 17.

In reply Shot Callers were 66 all out in 13 overs. Salvan Browne took 4 for 8 and Brenslee Bobb – 3 for 16, bowling for the lawmen.

Dr Thomas injectors won over Stingers by 53 runs

Injectors batted first and made 107 for 8 in 20 overs; Wendell Corridon was 39 not out.

Kezron O’Brien had 3 for 9, Adonis Nanton 2 for 18 and Danroy Hazel 2 for 25, bowling for Stingers.

In reply Stingers were 54 all out in 12.4 overs, as Quesnell Cottoy picked up 3 for 2, Wendell Corridon 2 for 7, Lawrence Kydd 2 for 8 and Ron Adams 2 for 9.

And, Gairy’s Construction Simple Boys won over Richmond Hill, who failed to show.
