Clinchers continued their reign as knockout champions, defeating Everready Future Stars with some ease.
Clinchers trailed 12-14 at the end of the first quarter, but enjoyed a 28-22 lead at the end of the second.
Future Stars caused some panic in the Clinchersâ camp, as they cut the deficit by half at the end of the third quarter, with Clinchers up 39-36.
Clinchers pulled out all the stops to finish 52-42, and complete the Division Three double, having already secured the league title.
Khadija Williams had 45 of her 56 attempts successfully registered and Denesha Gurley had 7 from 12 for Clinchers.
For the losing finalists, Diana Robinson registered 28 of her 35 attempts and Lauren Gilchrist had 14 from 23.
Also on the night, Twilight Trading X-Ceed was seeking to do the double take in Division Two, but that was not to be, as Hillview came and spoiled the party.
The Barrouallie outfit Hillview came to the venue with sense of purpose and led the first quarter 10-9, then extended the margin to 10, as the second quarter saw a 26-16 score line, with them in the ascendancy.
At the end of the third quarter, it was 35-27, still in favour of Hillview, who completed the task at 45-39.
For Hillview, Shanilliah Stephens scored 22 of her 44 tries and Shanda Cain registered 23 of her 34.
For X-Ceed, Deslyn Jeffers deposited 20 of her 26 and Rosie Mc Cree had 19 from 25 bucketed.
The two other division knockout titles will be determined next Wednesday, June 11, when the Division One and Division Four finals will be staged, also at the Kingstown Netball Centre. (RT)
