Preston Skerrit says thank you to participants, supporters of Sports, Cultural Club

President of the Government Printery Sports and Cultural Club Preston Skerrit has thanked several persons and business places for making this year a successful one.{{more}}

“I must thank the Government printer (Ag) Mr Phillip Charles for his assistance in ensuring the revival of the club; Mrs Rodriquez for having the Miss SVG contestants 2013 on tour at the Government Printery; Mr Dennis Murray, Mr John Horne, Log Enterprises Ltd and Allan Smith Bakery for their contribution towards our In-House Uno Competition played at the Government Printery. Also to all the persons who participated in our moonlight walk and to my executive team for their hard work and dedication.”

He also extended thanks to the St Vincent Brewery for sponsorship of the recently concluded Hairoun/ Government Printery Sports and Cultural Club/Firms Domino Competition. He also congratulated the CWSA for winning this competition and expressed gratitude to the other teams that participated. Skerrit said he looked forward to their support in next year’s competition.

The president also advised cricket lovers that on February 15, 2014, the Government Printery Sports and Cultural Club will be hosting a Firms’ 20/20 Softball Cricket Tournament at Dauphine Playing Field. Registration forms are available at the Government Printery.
