Team SVG takes NY Netball Junior Division

Team St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) captured the junior division from a field of four, when the curtains came down on the 2012 Caribbean American Netball Association (CANA) tournament two weekends ago.{{more}}

The tournament was played at the Lincoln Terrance Park in New York. Trailing the St Vincent and the Grenadines team in that division was Grenada and Trinidad and Tobago in that order.

However, in the senior division, the Vincentian outfit failed to finish in the top three, which was won by Grenada.

Placing second was Trinidad and Tobago and St Lucia, third. The other team in the division was USA.

The 2011 champs Jamaica did not defend their crown.
