Netters do the double

The youthful Netters Netball Club completed the Division 4 double last Saturday at the Kingstown Netball Centre, when they took the Knockout title.{{more}}

Netters downed Dutch Lady Clinchers 30-23 in the final, to add to the league title which they won earlier in the season.

In the league race, Netters left Dutch Lady Clinchers in the second spot, while Petroleum Services ASCO 4 was third.

Also on Saturday, the final of the Knockout in Division Two was decided and it was Hill View who came out ahead of Green Hill Sports Club in a closely contested 37-36 triumph.

But it was one better for Hill View, as they had to settle for second place in the league, behind C & R Enterprises Sion Hill. Completing the top four places in Division Two were third placed Minors Construction Calliaqua United and Twilight Trading X-Ceed, fourth.

The other two divisions: One and Three have seen their league winner determined.

Western Union Mitres claimed Division One, ahead of Vita Malt Maple. Third was French Verandah X-Ceed and fourth was Gairy Construction ASCO One.

The Division Three league winner was Maple 2. Second was Sea Operations Nar Fren Dem; third was Layou Orions 2 and fourth was Third Eye Security X- Ceed.

Still to be determined are the Knock-out winners in Division One and Division Three. The latter was set for decision yesterday, Monday, when Maple 2 and Sea Operations Nar Fren Dem were set to meet in the final. (RT)
