Guinness Boys dominate Street Football in Bequia
On Friday, May 11, two more teams joined the line-up for the climax of the Guinness Street football challenge, set for June 8 at the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex.{{more}}
On Friday night at the Clive Tannis hard court, Guinness Boys defeated four other opponents, which won them a spot in the second round of the matches. They then defeated Pick-up Boys in the deciding match and won 5 goals to 1.
Guinness Boys managed to win both rounds of the Street Football Challenge, with outstanding double strikes from Mark Browne and Mickel Joseph in the first match, and one each from Shaquille Ollivierre and Jemell Ollivierre in the second.
The other teams who participated in Fridayâs challenge were: Higher Heights, Simple Touch, Gabba Boys and Mt Pleasant.
