All Vincy clashes this weekend in Brooklyn Cricket League

All four Vincentian teams campaigning in the Brooklyn Cricket League (BCL) will be in action this weekend, but what is more intriguing, is that they will be involved in all-Vincy clashes.{{more}}

On Saturday at Marine Park C, the much anticipated and hyped match between Cavaliers and Imperial takes place.

On Sunday, Middlesex and Queenbury go head to head at Marine Park B.

Imperial is coming off a win last weekend, when the 20/20 format began.

Playing at Marine Park C, Imperial came up against Shaheen.

Batting first, Imperial made 158 for 9 in their allotted 20 overs; Offord Earle hit 39 and Jason Williams 25.

Replying, Shaheen reached 148 for 9 from their 20 overs. Akeem Khan scored 45, and Awais Butt 33.

Kester Sylvester 2 for 23, Augustus Mofford took 2 for 25, Byron Mars 2 for 28 and Shamrroy Primus 2 for 43, as Imperial won by ten runs.

Also charged for this weekend is Cavaliers, who beat Brooklyn Stars in their 20/20 outing.

Brooklyn Stars batted first and made 124 all out in 19 overs.

Calvin Richardson took 3 for 16, Jarrod John 2 for 6 and Timothy Warner 2 for 37.

Albert Tesheira top scored with 58, as Cavaliers responded with 125 for 3, with five balls to spare, to advance to the next phase of the competition.(RT)
