The 2010/2011 Secondary Schools’ Sports Season of the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Ministry of National Mobilization, Youth & Sports, began on Friday, October 15, 2010 with the Vita Malt Inter- Secondary Schools’ Netball Tournament.{{more}}

The tournament commenced with an official Opening Ceremony at the Arnos Vale Netball Complex.

The Ceremony saw a parade of teams, followed by remarks from officials of both ministries, the netball association and sponsors St. Vincent Brewery Ltd.

A total of twenty secondary schools are taking part in this year’s tournament, which comprises junior and senior categories.

The 2010 Vita Malt Inter-Secondary Schools Netball Tournament runs from October 15 to November 12 and matches will be played throughout mainland St.Vincent and also in Bequia.

Central Leeward Secondary and Emmanuel High School Mespo are the defending champions in the junior and senior categories respectively.
