Shot Callers was restricted to 58 for 9 from 15 overs, reduced because of rain. Chris King and Andre Hunte took 3, for 12 and 2, for 18, respectively, bowling for Novice.

Roderick John then struck half dozen sixes in his 39 not out and Hyron Shallow 19 not out, with 3 sixes, as Novice reached 59 without loss in 2.4 overs.

But it was a power packed 137 by Desron Maloney which was the highlight of the weekend.

Maloney hit 18 sixes and a four, in all directions at the Dauphine Playing Field, as Ken’s Plumbing Associates amassed 231 for 7 in their 20 overs. Elric Morris scored 32. Keron Cumberbatch amidst the onslaught took 3 for 28.

Sunset Strikers never rose to the occasion and was shot out for 64. Kenrick Lavia made his team’s topscore of 15. Travis Cumberbatch took 3 for 22 for Simple Boys Touch of Pearl La Croix beat Gomea Bombers by 73 runs.

La Croix rallied to 151 for 4 off their 20 overs. Ronaldo Coombs hit 72 not out and Danny Allen 23. Andre Woods took 2 for 13, bowling for Gomea Bombers.

Denroy Cole hit a topscore of 17, as Gomea was dismissed for 78 in 14.4 overs. Ronaldo Coombs was also good with the ball taking 4 for 27 and Ron Adams chipped in with 3 for 19, for La Croix.

But there was a no decision in the LCK Shot Callers and Under Dogs match, due to rain in the latter’s innings. Shot Callers got to 117 for 9 from their 20 overs. Rajiv Williams scored 18. Andrel Bailey 3 for 18 and Nicholas Holder 3 for 22, bowling for Under Dogs.

The match ended with Under Dogs who were 15 for 2.

The Street Fighters versus BEDCO match was decided by 10 overs in BEDCO’s reply.

BEDCO was asked to make 91 in 10 overs, however they were dismissed for 46.

This was in reply to Street Fighters’ 141. Richie Richards made 38 and Leroy Dalzell 29. Bowling for BEDCO Newborn Joseph took 4 for 24.(RT)
