A sports filled summer

The second edition of the HOTT VIBES Promotions Summa Fest summer programme for youth in the North Leeward district continued this weekend with lawn tennis.{{more}}

Officials from the Grass Roots Tennis Club were expected to offer tennis lessons to the participants at the Petit Bordel Hard Court.

On Saturday, August 7, the programme got started at the Petit Bordel Playing Field, with more than 100 persons turning up for the football programme.

Local youth coach, Ian Sardine, along with a number of Ministry of Sports officials, also turned up to offer football training and advice to the youngsters.

The participants are expected to take part in other sporting activities and arts and crafts as the programme continues.

The programme is organized by local promoter Stuart ‘Rudy’ Louie.(JJ)
