Stick Up gets a whipping from Ju-c Super Strikers

In the ASCO 20/20 Softball Cricket Competition on the weekend, Ju-c Super Strikers whipped Stick Up International by 141 runs. Ju-c Super strikers posted 189 for 6 off the allotted 20 overs. Shevern Small blasted an unbeaten 63, Aslyn Small, 42, and Sherry Ann John, 21. Jennifer Walters picked up 4 for 25 bowling for Stick Up International.{{more}} Asked to make 190 to win, Stick Up International stopped at 48. Alvina King wrecked the innings bagging 5 for 8. Shevern Cato picked up 3 for14.

Owia Shottaz defeated S.G. Defrietas by 65 runs. Batting first Owia Shottaz made 94 in 15 overs. Lisborne Lavia, 24. Michael Byron grabbed 4 for 5, Charlie Thomas, 2 for 10, and Caldric Laidlow, 2 for 29. In reply, S.G. Defrietas fell for 29 in 7.2 overs. Ambrose Williams captured 3 for 10 and Lisborne Lavia, 3 for 14.

Doctor Thomas Injectors stopped E.J. Cato Heavy Equipment Hill Top Boys by 76 runs. Taking first knock, Doctor Thomas Injectors made 144 in 20 overs. There were 56 extras. From the bat, Tex Franklyn added 21 and Winston Snagg, 20. E.J. Cato Heavy Equipment Hill Top Boys in their run chase only manage 68 in 17.4 overs. Maurice Cordice, 21. Bowling for Injectors, Emil Small, 4 for 5, and Augustine Corridon, 3 for 12.

Next Level inflicted a 71 run flogging on Mc’s Sprat I Strikers. Nex Level reached 146 for 5. Zenroy Lee, 48, and Justin Lee, 33 not out, were the principal scorers. In reply, Mac’s Sprat I Strikers only managed 75 in 15.1 overs. Ashdale Huggins hit 35. Justin Lee and Deptor Culzac picked up 2 for 20 and 2 for 28, respectively.

And, Sea Operation Nar Fren Dem ripped apart Corea’s Strikers by eight wickets. Batting first Corea’s Strikers were bundled out for 35 in 12 overs. The Nar Fren Dem pacers easily ripped through the Corea’s Strikers line up with Marlon Farrell returning figures of 2 for 1, Kevin Harry, 3 for 7, and Dave Baptiste, 2 for 12. Nar Fren Dem, 36 for 2.

Five more matches are on the cards for the weekend.
