GHS Ad Alta take Digicel National Netball title

The Girls’ High School Ad Alta created history on Friday, 5th June, when the team won, for the first time, the Digicel National Netball Division Three Knock-Out Competition.{{more}}

Motivated by a hard fought victory against Maple Youths on Wednesday, GHS Ad Alta was intent on defeating the Bethel High School who they had already defeated during the preliminary round of the competition.

GHS Ad Alta dominated the first quarter ten goals to nil. The Bethel High School raised its standard of play in the next three quarters but was unable to significantly reduce the first quarter deficit. By the end of the final whistle the score was twenty-one (21), twelve (12) in favour of GHS Ad Alta.
