Recounting the big clash, Cavaliers in their allotted 40 overs scored 335 for 5, with veteran player Ezekiel âSportsâ Williams scoring his maiden century, 105. Casper Davis, a whirlwind 81, an aggressive 70 from Albert Tesheira and skipper Mark Audain added 50. For Stars United, Joseph Shortte, 2 for 56.
At their turn at the crease, Stars could only muster 97.
A fiery Dominic Audain got 3 for 36. Young Andre Davis, son of Casper Davis, got 2 for 40. Casper bowling off spin got 3 for 4.
Also that weekend Imperial beat Pak Eleven. In 40 overs, Pak Eleven made 236. Sun Zakar, 68, and Jan Afradi, 59. Colville Browne, 3 for 28, and Otneil Mofford, 2 for 21.
Replying, Imperial reached 239 for 8 in 37.4 overs. Foster Lewis hit 67. Orient Bostic, 35, and Everad Olliverre, 34. Maued Waheed bagged 4 for 52.
Last Saturday, Imperial got the better of Jinnah. Jinnah made 170. Miran Rizwan, 52.
