Ambris, Lewis hit centuries in the RBTT Premier Division

West Indies Under-15 middle order batsman Sunil Ambris scored his first century in the RBTT Premier Division, when he stroked his way to 112, against Police One last weekend, at the Arnos Vale Two Playing Field.{{more}} The 15-year-old Ambris’ innings included 12 fours and 2 sixes, as Eat Rite Saints responded with 242, after the lawmen had posted 128.

In Police’s innings, Parnel Browne scored 50 and Renford Jack, 31.The pair shared in a 79 run last wicket partnership. Isaac Haywood bagged 5 for 26 and national player, Kenroy Peters, 4 for 26. Batting a second time, Police One reached 211 for 9, with St. Vincent and the Grenadines Under-19 player, Marlon France making 60. Browne, completing a good match, hit 54. Peters was again among the wicket takers and took 4 for 45, while Haywood chipped in with 2 for 24. Leon Mc Allister snared 2 for 34.

There was also a century scored in the Bottlers First Division. Kenroy Lewis hit 139 not out in CLICO A Level College’s second innings against Radcliffe Two. Lewis’s knock was littered with 19 fours and a five. Verbert King was Radcliffe’s lead wicket- taker, with 4 for 63. A Level College batted first and made 154, with Shayne Alexander scoring 42, and Lewis, 28. Jabarri Johnson took 3 for 52, and David Dublin and Kamon Greene, both had figures of 2 for 18. Radcliffe Two replied with 123, with Johnson hitting 64 not out. Handell Prince took 5 for 47 and Morrison Matthews, 2 for 66, bowling for A Level College. Radcliffe was 122 for 8, in their second innings. King, 42, Andy Harper, 32. Prince followed up with 4 for 42, Kevin Small, 2 for 14, and Matthews, 2 for 38, as A Level College had to settle for first innings points.

Also in the First Division, Victors Two won on first innings over Ruddy’s Electrical Unique Warriors. Taking first strike, Unique Warriors made 177, with Kimon Williams topscoring with 42, and Conroy Ryan, 39. Otis Tittle, 3 for 12, Ray Jordan, 2 for 36, and Javed Harry, 2 for 41, shared the wickets. Victors Two responded with 236. Kurtland Lavia, 46, Carlon Woodley, 39, and Harry, 31. National Under-19 player Jenry Ollivierre took 7 for 79. Batting a second time, Unique Warriors posted 187. Christopher Campbell made 67 and Ronique Laborde, 34. Tittle, this time around, returned figures of 4 for 31, Jordan, 3 for 24, and Jeffrey Abraham, 2 for 45. Victors was 87 for 7 at the close, with Lavia making 47. Laborde, 2 for 30, and Ollivierre, 2 for 13, to finish with match analysis of 9 for 92, bowling for Unique Warriors.
