A spirited 90-minute knock between both teams was enough action to satisfy football thirsty fans in the North Leeward area, after a postponement of the tournament in December.
Though reaching the final on two consecutive occasions, Sundayâs showdown was a lesson for the English Spurs once again, after going under to the Rose Bank Enforcers in 2003, when the tournament was last held.
Players from 13 teams are now awaiting an official closing ceremony in which a number of individual awards are up for grabs. This seasonâs tournament attracted a number of high profile players, including national striker Shandel Williams.
The 2006 tournament is scheduled to commence on September 3.
