Jaric St Vincent Ltd. – A good service provider

Jaric St. Vincent Limited (Jaric SVG), has been providing a valuable service in the field of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), even contributing to the country’s OHS legislation.

Head of the Grenadines Chamber of Industry and Commerce (SVGCIC), Tony Regisford pointed this out during an interview with SEARCHLIGHT,during which he recognises the company’s contribution to the work environment in SVG.

Jaric SVG is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and Regisford revealed that the Chamber and Jaric have collaborated on several joint awareness seminars where the private sector was engaged on pertinent matters to do with OHS.

“I believe it is correct to say Jaric has played a very important role with the OHS Act that was recently revised so they had a lot of input into the formulation of it.”

Regisford said as well that Jaric plays a very important consultancy role in the OHS landscape in SVG.

“Safety is vital for any business eco- system. You have to have entities that could guide businesses and give them expert advice on OHS. In particular when it comes to chemical hazards, fires, falls from heights, lifting, these are some of the common things that can plague a business, and Jaric helps to do these things in a proper way, understanding and mitigating them,” said Regisford.

The SVGCIC head said Jaric is a good service provider of advice to businesses that operate not only in hazardous environments but businesses in general.

“A key component of a good functioning business eco-system is safety, and they are a good service provider. I am satisfied that they have the knowledge when it comes to matters of OHS.”
