Meet the team at OT Tyre

Waveney McCree- Horne: CEO

Waveney McCree has been credited for OT Tyre being in existence. Five years ago, McCree-Horne encouraged the directors to bring OT Tyre on stream, and they have not regretted the decision.

The CEO boasts about the exemplary customer service that OT Tyre has been become famous for and enjoys the fact that she comes into contact with the various suppliers and many customers who do business with OT Tyre. She is always willing to give a listening ear, regardless of whether it is to field a question, take a complaint, or a compliment.{{more}}

“This year we will be focusing on education,” McCree-Horne says.

“We find that a lot of drivers, males included, do not know enough about tyre care; so this year, we want to educate and advise on proper tyre care, and give the best recommendations to drivers when it comes to the needs of their vehicles.”

Cynthia Charles-Abraham: Floor Supervisor

Cynthia Charles-Abraham has been with OT Tyre from its inception, overseeing the operations in the shop, and making sure that the customers’ needs are met on a daily basis. This includes ensuring that the technicians perform their tasks in a professional and timely manner.

“One of the best parts of working here is the teamwork and camaraderie, because we work with the belief that Together Everyone Achieves More (TEAM).

Hannah Debique: Office Clerk

Although one of the newest members on staff, Hannah Debique is at heart a team player, who assists in every area possible – except tyre changing.

“I would love to get my hands dirty doing that some day, but for now I do my part by making sure the technicians and managers have what they need to make sure the customers are satisfied.

“OT Tyre is the only tyre shop that you can sit in comfort, get a beverage, watch a game, while you are being served and that is what makes us number one.”

Perlina Peters: Cashier /Receptionist

Perlina Peters has been with OT Tyre from inception and so far, it has been “so good.”

“I enjoy working here. I get to meet and interact with customers, and although some can be difficult at times, at the end of the day, I know how to deal with them. It is something I enjoy doing.”

Peters gets her satisfaction knowing that no customer leaves unsatisfied.

“We always try to do our best. I’m encouraging everyone to visit OT Tyre, because we have the best tyres, new and used.”

Patricia Sardine: Accountant

Patricia Sardine has been with the TEAM since its inception, and has seen the company grow, despite the economic conditions.

She credits this to the customer service that keeps customers coming back.

“OT Tyre boasts excellent service, its staff is well trained, and the prices are affordable. We pay attention to the customers’ needs.”

Andy Lynch: Senior Technician

Andy Lynch has been in the tyre service for more than 15 years, with the last five years being a member of staff at OT Tyre.

For him it is more than a job; it is a passion. He enjoys working on the smallest tyre for a wheelbarrow, to the largest tyres for tractors that come to the shop’s spacious environment.

Lynch loves interacting with the customers and giving advice on the best ways to care their vehicles and tyres.

“This is my thing. I love it. Our service and prices are the best, and we take care of our customers and give them what they need. We try our best to give our best.”

Selwyn Springer: Senior Technician

Selwyn Springer has been in the tyre business for over 20 years, and enjoys the freedom he has to do his work.

Boasting about the service they provide to drivers, Springer says he sees OT Tyre being around for another five years and beyond.

“It’s the best tyre shop in St Vincent and the Grenadines, based on the feedback we get; customer service is second to none.”

Everybody here knows what they are supposed to do and we have good machines, so you don’t have to worry about getting your rims scratched, because we take care and are diligent when it comes to that.

Morton Dalzel:Technician

Morton Dalzel has been a tyre technician for five years. He prides himself on the fact that OT Tyre gets drivers back into their vehicles in a professional and timely manner.

“They like that they could get their tyres changed in a quick timing, and that they can relax in comfort while that is being done.”

Theophilus Finch:Technician

The past five years for Theophilus Finch has been a great working experience. He says that he expects to see the company grow from strength to strength, and customers coming back for quality service and treatment for the next five years and beyond.

“By now, everybody should know that OT Tyre is the best. When it comes to service, you get the best of the best. Just come and tell us what you want and we will fix you up.”

Ken Providence: Junior Technician

The youngest technician on the floor, Ken Providence enjoys his job, since he enjoys being around vehicles and helping customers to get in and out as quickly as possible.

“Ever since I have been here, the response to what we do has been very good. That’s why I would encourage everyone out there to come and support OT Tyre.”
