Ministry of Tourism promoting SVG in region

The Ministry of Tourism, Youth and Sports has been involved in promotional activity in the region under their Caribbean Promotions program 2007.

Officials from the Ministry, including the Honourable Minister Glen Beache and the Director of Tourism Vida Bernard, have traveled to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Grenada and Puerto Rico to engage in promoting St. Vincent and the Grenadines to our regional neighbours.{{more}}

The abovementioned promotions were done during the period September to October 2007.

The final leg of this Caribbean Promotional Blitz is being held this week in St Lucia on November 29th – 30th, 2007. The visit will include various media interviews and a Breakfast “Meet and Greet” at the Royal St Lucian Hotel on November 30th at 9:30 a.m.

The target audience will be Tour operators, Travel Agents and the St. Lucia Public and Media. Minister Beache,

Director Bernard and Marketing Officer Jacqui English will be present to promote St. Vincent and the Grenadines to

St. Lucia.
