Dennika Primus is Supervisor at PSCS

Dennika Primus is next in line to the Managing Director. She came through the ranks, starting as a Front Desk Clerk (receptionist) and is currently the Supervisor. In this capacity, she oversees the work of the other members of staff and provides administrative support to the managing director. These tasks include overseeing the processing of visa applications, taking minutes for companies/businesses requiring those services, and assisting with front office duties.

“It’s not one of those jobs where you basically do the same thing every day. It’s not repetitive at all because we try to help the general public
as much as possible, so you won’t really hear us say ‘o that’s not something that we do’, we always try to help”.

On any given day the office is busy. “We’re always trying to meet one deadline or the other, and there are times when a customer would walk in and you might think ‘oh, nothing is happening at PSCS today’ but no, that’s never the case. There are always wheels turning and turning in the background, and there might be at one time you walk in and there’s nobody at the front office and in less than a minute persons will be out the door waiting to come in, so it like goes from zero to 100 so fast, there’s no slack time.”

As for her boss, “She keeps you on your toes, definitely. She expects nothing but the best, and we’re always to maintain our standard. The company’s name is Professional Secretarial and Consultancy Services and that is something we’re never allowed to forget; you’re expected to be professional”.
