Miss SVG beauties make official appearance

The eight young women to contest the Miss SVG title on May 31 have been officially introduced to the public.{{more}}

During a segment of the 2014 launch of Vincy Mas at the Solidarity Inc Car Park last Saturday night, the contestants were introduced to the eager public, at what is considered the most anticipated moment of the night.

During their brief appearance, the ladies introduced themselves, while acknowledging their sponsors, and inviting the masses to come out to the pageant that takes place at the Victoria Park in just over three weeks time.

A representative of the sponsors then sashed the contestants, before giving spectators a taste of what to expect on the night of competition, through a short dance routine.

Also serenading the audience was Miss SVG 2013 Shara George, encouraging them to attend the show and support the contestants.

The eight vying for the 2014 crown are Fellisia Baptiste, Miss Imperial Optical; Shackell Bobb, Miss Agricultural Input Warehouse; Shadeisha George, Miss LIME; Tatiana Lespierre, Miss Bequia Beach Hotel; Selis Blair, Miss Metrocint General Insurance Company; Karla Gellizeau, Miss Mustique Company Ltd; Vanika Hope, Miss Super 6; and Jamilia Neverson, Miss Lotto.(JJ)
