Vincentian Miclos Swift moves up as Director at Deloitte
VINCENTIAN banking and financial services professional Miclos Swift has climbed another rung on the proverbial ladder by earning promotion to Director at Deloitte, one of the world’s leading professional services organisations.
Swift, who is based with Deloitte Barbados, was recently promoted to Director, Consulting, marking the latest achievement in a professional career spanning more than two decades in banking, financial services, bank supervision, regulation, risk management and corporate governance across the Eastern Caribbean, a release issued on his behalf states.
The son ofYvonne Swift and Charles Swift of Mesopotamia, Swift began his professional journey at the Kingstown Co-operative Credit Union (KCCU), and after completing his studies at UWI Mona he went on to build an impressive regional career, at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB), where he worked in bank supervision. Swift joined Deloitte in June, 2021 taking with him an extensive background in financial services and bank regulation across the region.
Deloitte announced Swift’s promotion alongside that of Andra Serieux-Kirton, who was promoted to Director, Audit & Assurance. In announcing the appointments, the firm highlighted the leadership, technical excellence and commitment demonstrated by its newly appointed directors.
Deloitte noted that both professionals had been recognised for their strong leadership and commitment to developing talent, adding that their contributions have strengthened client outcomes and reinforced the firm’s position as a trusted adviser in the region.
For Swift, the promotion represents an important personal and professional accomplishment, as well as a proud moment for St.
Vincent and the Grenadines. His career progression reflects more than 20 years of professional development and service within the Caribbean financial sector.
