CXC releases results of the 2026 May-June examinations today
THE Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC), will host the ceremony for the official release of the 2026 May-June examination results today, August 18, 2026 in Anguilla.
CXC said in a release that the ceremony will be done in collaboration with the Government of Anguilla through the Ministry of Social Development and Education.
The annual event will bring together government officials, education stakeholders, school leaders, and media representatives for the official presentation of results for the May-June 2026 Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE), Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC), Caribbean Targeted Education Certificate (CTEC) and Caribbean Certificate of Secondary Level Competence (CCSLC) examinations, the release also states.
The hybrid ceremony will accommodate both in-person participation and online viewing through a regional livestream.
Minister of Social Development, Education, Youth & Culture, Library Services and Probation, Shellya Rogers-Webster, will deliver the feature address at this year’s ceremony. Dr Wayne Wesley, Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of CXC, will share key initiatives underway at CXC and the outcomes of the CTEC pilot, ahead of the presentation by Dr Nicole Manning, Director of Operations, who will highlight candidate performance and notable achievements coming out of the May-June examination results.
As this year’s host country, Anguilla will welcome viewers from across the region for one of CXC’s flagship annual events, underscoring the island’s commitment to education, regional collaboration and student success. The ceremony will also highlight the rich cultural talents of Anguilla’s students, featuring a poem performed by spoken word poet Nevaiya Simpson, winner of the Junior Category in the 2026 Malliouhana Poetry Competition, and a pan music rendition by 1264IslandBoys, Sharvin and Arvin Narine.
CXC said the official release of the results ceremony reflects its commitment to developing the region’s human capital while recognising the hard work, dedication and accomplishments of teachers and students throughout the region. Candidates will be able to access their examination results following the ceremony.
