Gale Branch is new President of St Vincent and the Grenadines Conservation Fund
GALE BRANCH has assumed the presidency of the SVG Conservation Fund, from July 13th, replacing Gideon Nash, who had stepped into the role after former president Louise Mitchell became Attorney General.
Branch has been a member of the SVGCF Board of Directors since February 2025, previously serving as Treasurer/Secretary.
The Fund says her appointment marks the beginning of a new chapter as it continues to build on its achievements and deepen its impact across the country.
Branch is the Founder and Principal of Branch Strategic Solutions, a strategic operations and advisory firm serving executives, founders and organizational leaders across the United States and the Caribbean.
As President of the Board, Branch will provide strategic leadership and governance oversight as the SVGCF continues to invest in initiatives that protect biodiversity, strengthen climate resilience, and empower communities through sustainable, locally driven solutions.
The SVG Conservation Fund was established as a Not-for-Profit Company on November 30, 2015, and has, as its general purpose the provision of a sustainable flow of funds to supplement existing and future funds from any other sources to support the longterm management and expansion of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines National System of Protected Areas, as well as other activities that contribute substantially to the conservation, protection, and maintenance of biodiversity.
