Seven receive RoseGold scholarships for new academic year
Seven students have received scholarships from the RoseGold Foundation, a private foundation established in 2023.
The awards were presented at a ceremony on Thursday, July 16,2026 at La Vue Hotel.
In a release, the Foundation said the scholarship initiative supports students making the crucial transition to secondary school in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, helping to alleviate financial obstacles in order to further their education.
“Working collaboratively with school principals and local contacts, the Foundation identified deserving students from primary schools across the nation”, targetting potential student applicants “who demonstrated a commitment to their academic journey and who will be awarded the scholarships for the new academic year.
This year’s seven scholarship recipients are: Javorne Brown, Lowman’s Windward; Unique Christopher, Chapmans Village; Kay-Elle Davis, Fountain; Seymourah Grant, South Rivers; Saarah Stapleton, Largo Heights; Naomi Thomas, Mesopotamia; and Micah Welcome, Queens Drive.
A one-time disbursement was also offered to Chrisron Adams of Bellevue and Abrielle’ Ralph of Diamond.
The eligibility criteria for the scholarship require students to uphold a GPA of 75% or higher, an attendance rate above 80%, and a discipline record free of violations.
RoseGold Foundation is a registered non-profit in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, founded by St Vincent born Ronaele Rose, and David Goldstein of Los Angeles, California.
