Petersville School under new ownership

Kiddies Korner has formally acquired Petersville School, marking a significant milestone in the continued development of the institution and the beginning of its transition into the newly envisioned Petersville School of Excellence.

The new owners said in a release that the acquisition represents an important step in preserving the proud legacy, values, and traditions of Petersville School, while positioning the institution for renewed growth, innovation, and academic excellence. Through this transition, Petersville School of

Excellence aims to build on the school’s strong foundation while introducing enhanced educational programmes, strengthened leadership, improved facilities, and expanded opportunities for students, teachers, families, and the wider community.

The official agreement signing was attended by Managing Director of Kiddies Korner Zahra K. Lewis; principal, Yolande Hoyte, teacher Alvin Veira; and Headmistress Roslyn Peters who was recognized as part of this important milestone, the release added.

“The acquisition of Petersville School represents more than a change in ownership; it is a commitment to safeguarding a meaningful educational legacy while creating new opportunities for future generations,” Lewis is quoted in the release as stating.

“Petersville School of Excellence will honour the history of Petersville School while embracing innovation, leadership, and academic advancement.”

The release noted that Petersville School of Excellence will focus on nurturing confident, capable, and compassionate learners who are prepared to succeed in an ever-changing world. “The institution will place strong emphasis on academic excellence, character development, leadership, creativity, innovation, and meaningful community engagement.

“As the transition process moves forward, parents, students, alumni, staff, and community stakeholders can expect continued communication on the school’s development, future plans, and opportunities for engagement,” the new owners also noted in the release.

“The establishment of Petersville School of Excellence signals a renewed commitment to quality education, community partnership, and the advancement of student success. The legacy continues. The excellence evolves.”
