Community College hosts Accreditation Fairs across Campuses
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC), held its Accreditation Pop-Up Fair over several days through March and April, 2026 at the various campuses across the mainland, bringing together students, faculty, and staff in an interactive effort to deepen awareness and understanding of accreditation.
The College explained in a release that the pop-up fair featured an engaging atmosphere, with participants enjoying a mix of educational and entertainment activities. These included interactive booths, games and giveaways.
Speaking at the culminating session held at the Division of Nursing Education on Thursday, April 9, 2026, Accreditation and Quality Assurance Officer for the SVGCC Cindy Edwards, said the initiative is aimed at emphasising the College’s theme of introspection and growth, reinforcing the importance of collective responsibility in achieving accreditation goals and served as a platform to foster dialogue, answer questions, and build a shared commitment to excellence.
Dean of the SVGCC Division of Nursing Education (DNE), Roxanne Stowe-Maloney, said the pop-up fair was an excellent initiative, adding, “Our students really enjoyed this informative session and we are looking forward to great things for the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College.”
The Accreditation Pop-Up Fair was one of several outreach activities being undertaken by SVGCC as it advances its self-study phase, an essential component of the accreditation process that involves comprehensive internal evaluation and improvement planning.
The fair ran from March 26 to April 9, 2026 and was held under the theme:
“Rooted in introspection, Growing for the Future: Let’s ACE It”. (API)
