Holiday Inn Express & Suites marks first anniversary in SVG

THE HOLIDAY INN Express & Suites, located on the Diamond Estate, has marked its first anniversary of operation in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The hospitality facility opened on November 27, 2024, “bringing a fresh, modern hospitality experience to St.Vincent and the Grenadines,” a release from the hotel states.

It notes that the one year milestone has been “marked by growth, community partnerships, and a commitment to delivering what its parent brand calls ‘True Hospitality for Good’”.

The facility is owned by the Government of St.Vincent and the Grenadines and managed by theYurumein Hotel Management Company Ltd.. It operates under the global Inter-Continental Hotels Group (IHG). IHG, one of the world’s leading hotel companies that encompasses 20 brands, 3,206 Holiday Inn Express locations worldwide, and more than one million guest rooms.

As part of this vast network, the release states that the SVG hotel offers guests full access to the IHG Rewards programme, allowing them to earn and redeem points at thousands of hotels across the globe.

The 93-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites SVG also has a 24/7 gym, a self-service laundry room, swimming pool, an administrative meeting room and a spacious conference room, with several rooms being equipped with mobility and communication accessibility features.

It employs a staff of 43 Vincentians. Among its corporate community activities is its ‘Giving for Good’ initiative launched in September, and is part of IHG’s worldwide focus on positive social impact. The programme encouraged staff and community members to support charitable causes, highlighting the hotel’s dedication to being more than just a place to stay, but a genuine partner in national development. Locals,the release adds, are encouraged to utilise the facility through provision of the Day Pass Package and Breakfast and Pool Pass.
