2025 Nine Mornings Festival to be launched this Sunday

THE ANNUAL National Nine Mornings Festival will be launched on Sunday, December 14, kicking off from Heritage Square.

The National Nine Mornings Committee said in a release that the launch will begin with a street parade around Kingstown from 6:00 p.m leading into an opening ceremony and concert from 7:00 p.m.

Remarks will be delivered by various officials, including Minister of Culture, Kaschaka Cupid, and Prime Minister Dr. Godwin Friday who will officially turn on the lights. Remarks will also come from sponsors, the National Lotteries Authority. A entertainment package will feature best performers and groups, including the winner of the Community Song Contest, Bagga Carollers, and the winner of the BOSVG BringYo Song and Come Competition, Alonzo Edwards.

The Committee is inviting the public to be part of the launch of the annual uniquely Vincentian festival, which this year, has as its slogan: “Stop theYawning, We going Nine Mornings”.
