NTRC to host MyApp Summer Programme in Canouan and Georgetown

Person interested in being involved in the annual MyApp Summer programme organised by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC), have until this Friday June 28, 2024 to register.

In a release, the NTRC said its ninth annual summer coding and Robotics initiative known as the MyApp Summer Programme will run for three weeks each, from July 15 to August 2, 2024, at the Canouan Secondary School; and from August 5-23 at Georgetown Secondary School, from 9:00 a m to 3:00 p.m.

The programme will teach and expose participants between the ages of 13-18 years how to code, using a pocket-sized computer known as the micro-bit. They will also build robots and apply their newly acquired coding skills to program the robots to perform tasks. Application forms are available at the NTRC’s Office and via the website www.ntrc.vc. There is a registration cost of $50 per person.
