Vincentian actors to perform at Barbados International Arts Festival

The Barbados International Arts Festival will feature some Vincy flavour this year with a local arts company, Alpha Studios.

The fifth edition of the festival, conceptualized by artists to feature artists, has been dubbed a cultural extravaganza by organizers. The festival runs through the month of March and features spoken word, dance and comedy events.

A five-member Vincentian team, which includes writer, director and actor, Javed DaSouza; actor Kayron Phillips; make-up artist and actor, Nia Grecia; actor Jay Z Lewis and light/audio technician and actor TimRon Williams will take center stage at the Caribbean Comedy Night in Barbados on Saturday, March 30.

The group will be performing the award winning production “Three of Hearts”.

Alpha Studios will be performing alongside some of Barbados’ biggest talents in comedy including Archibull Cox, Stephon John, Ras Philly and ‘Lyrix & Stan’ The Feminist Man.

The group’s participation in the festival is made possible by IKTV, BOOM 106.9, InterCaribbean Airways and Metrocint Insurance.
