Taiwan donating personal items through Ministry of National Mobilisation

The Ministry of National Mobilisation in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of China on Taiwan, will host a ceremony to hand over a quantity of personal items today, February 13, 2024, to vulnerable clients of the ministry.

The ceremony is slated to begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Georgetown Community Centre.

Following the ceremony, the Taiwan Ambassador Fiona Huei-Chun Fan, along with Minister of National Mobilisation Orande Brewster, will visit the Biabou Learning Resource Centre and the Calliaqua Town Hall, where Ambassador Fan will hand over similar packages to the clients of the Ministry of National Mobilisation.

This initiative is made possible through the cooperation of the Embassy of the Republic of China on Taiwan; the SimplyHelp Foundation; and the Taiwanese non-profit Charity Organisation who provided the items that will be distributed (API).
