Renowned mathematician to host exclusive math workshop in SVG

Mathematics enthusiasts and educators are in for a treat as the world-renowned mathematician Dr Yeap Ban Har from Singapore takes centre stage at the upcoming mathematics workshop “Mathematics: – A Changed Mindset”.

Organized by the St Vincent Methodist Church in conjunction with the Ministry of Education, this exclusive event promises to elevate the understanding and appreciation of mathematics to new heights.

Dr Yeap Ban Har is a globally respected mathematician, educator, and author, known for his groundbreaking work in mathematics education. He is one of the world’s leading authorities on teaching mastery of mathematics.

With an illustrious career spanning a decade, he has dedicated himself to transforming the way mathematics is taught and learned. His innovative approach has inspired countless educators and students worldwide.

The workshop takes place from October 9 to 11 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Kingstown Methodist Church Hall.

The first two days of the workshop, October 9 and 10 are dedicated to Primary School educators. October 11 is dedicated to teachers of math in the Secondary Schools.
