Prime Minister Gonsalves out of State attending meetings in Barbados and St Lucia
Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves is out of State, having left the country on Saturday, October 8 to attend a number of meetings and other functions.
A release from the Prime Minister’s Office said he travelled to Barbados on Saturday, October 8 to attend a security meeting and the following day, he joined the rest of the Caribbean in paying tribute to deceased social activist Robert “Bobby” Clarke at the Golden Square Freedom Park in Barbados.
Earlier today, Monday October 10, the Prime Minister travelled to St Lucia where he met with the Director General of the Organisation of the Eastern Caribbean States, Dr Didacus Jules and Prime Minister of St Lucia Philip J Pierre, to discuss regional matters.
The Prime Minister travels back to Barbados this evening to attend the CARIFORUM-EU Ministerial meeting that takes place on October 11 and 12.
Gonsalves will return to the state on the evening of Wednesday, October 12, the release said.
