Education Minister heads delegation to Caribbean forum on School Safety

Minister of Education, Curtis King is heading a three member St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) delegation to the third Caribbean Ministerial forum on school safety in St Maarten organized by the Caribbean School Safety Initiative.

The June 28-30 forum, which has brought together ministers of education and educators from across the Caribbean region, the Agency for Public Information (API) said in a release.

Minister King, who is the outgoing Chair of the Ministerial Forum hands over the Chairmanship to the host country’s Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, Rodolphe Samuel. 

Education officer Dr Idelia Ferdinand and training officer at the National Emergency Management Organisation, Houlda Peters are the other members of the SVG delegation.
