Police rule out foul play in death of domestic worker

No foul play is suspected in the death of Sandra Sam, a 61-year-old domestic worker of Greiggs, whose partly decomposed body was discovered lying on the floor of her home on Wednesday March 10, 2021.

According to a police report, the Greiggs resident was said to be afflicted with a terminal illness.

According to investigations, the deceased was not seen for a few days and on Wednesday, persons were alarmed by a foul smell coming from her home.

The police were alerted and when they visited the scene, they discovered Sam’s partly decomposed body.

She was pronounced dead at the scene by the District Medical Officer (DMO).
