CDC meets with Shertz ‘Problem Child’ James to discuss future collaborations

FINALIST IN the Trinidad and Tobago International Soca Monarch competition, Shertz ‘Problem Child’ James met on Tuesday, February 4, with officials of the Carnival Development Corporation- CDC-to discuss his musical success thus far and his plans for the International Soca Monarch finals scheduled for Friday February in Trinidad.

The CDC said in a release that it stands resolute in its support of Problem Child’s bid for the coveted title of International Soca Monarch 2020, one of the big shows on the T& T carnival calendar.

“We are exploring ways in which we can work in collaboration with him to show our support”, the CDC stated.

The CDC officials also engaged with Hance John who was a Semi-finalist in the Groovy category of the International Soca Monarch competition.

Both artistes thanked the people of St. Vincent and The Grenadines for

the overwhelming love and support they received during their performances.

Problem Child was due to return to Trinidad on Wednesday February 5, as he continues to prepare for the International Soca competition.

A marketing team from the CDC will leave for Trinidad on February, 19 to undertake several marketing initiatives during the 2020 carnival in the two-island republic.
