Bandits make off with illicit firearms

A cache of guns, ammunition and a quantity of ganja is alleged to have been stolen from a marijuana farm in the North Central Windward area.

Reports are that bandits robbed the marijuana plantion’s owner of the illegal items which included four guns and assorted ammunition, shooting a bullet over his head in the process.

One of the firearms is said to be a rifle with range capacity and is mounted on a stand.

The robbers are said to be from the Central Kingstown area who are all known to the police, having in the past been arrested for several offences including, wounding with intent, attempted murder, murder, and firearm and ammunition possession.

The Police have been informed about the illegal weapons and reports are that an investigation has been launched.
