Kingstown Methodist Church announced as venue for State Funeral

The funeral service for the late Sir Vincent Beache is scheduled to take place on Monday, 19th August, 2019, at the Methodist Church, Kingstown, commencing at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Kingstown Cemetery.

A release from the Office of the Prime Minister said official viewing of the body will be held on Monday, 19th August, 2019, at the House of Assembly from 9:00a.m.to 1:00 p.m. Officials will be invited to the viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., and the general public from 9:45a.m. To 1:00p.m.

As a mark of respect, all flags throughout the State will be flown at half mast on Monday, 19th August, 2019.

Please be advised that the family has requested that there should be no taking of photographs of the body during the official viewing period.

Please be advised also that there will be no viewing of the body at the church nor open tributes.

Sir Vincent Beache was a former Minister of Government and former Member of Parliament for North Central Windward and South Windward. He passed away on Monday, 5th August, 2019.

The release said the Government takes this opportunity to extend sincere condolences to the family of the late Sir Vincent Beache during this period of bereavement.
