SVG Gospel Festival 2017

“The 2017 edition of SVG Gospel Fest will be held here from Sunday April 2nd to Sunday April 30th. The festival which was started in 2003 and is now into its 15th year, is designed to showcase Vincentian gospel expressions in music, song, dance and drama. Over the years a number of this country leading gospel artistes got their start in the festival which showcases talents from across the country.

Among the highlights of the 15th anniversary celebrations will be: “A Glorious Celebration” the opening show on April 2nd which will showcase outstanding artistes who emerged from the festival; “A Glorious Celebration of Dance” a night of dance with dance groups from around the country on April 7th and the National Gospel Showcase on April 30th.

SVG Gospel Fest 2017 is being held under the theme: “15 Years of the Glorious Celebration of the Gospel”.

Following is the full program for the festival:

Sunday April 2nd – Opening of Festival – “A Glorious Celebration”

Victoria Park – 6.00 pm

Featuring: Outstanding Artistes from 15 years of Gospel Fest

Friday April 7th – “A Glorious Celebration of Dance”

Peace Memorial Hall – 8.00 pm

Featuring: Dance groups from around the country

Admission: $10.00

Sunday April 9th – “A Glorious Celebration of Praise”

New Testament Church of God, Wilson Hill – 6.00 pm

Featuring: Gospel Bands from around the country

 

Friday April 21st – Drum Praise

Featuring: Drummers from around the country in music & song

Saturday April 22nd – Gospel Concert – “Our Faith In God”

Featuring: DJ Nicholas & Local Artistes

Diamond Deliverance Assembly Church Grounds – 6.30 pm

Sunday April 23rd – Zonal Gospel Showcases
 

Featuring: performances in song, dance, drama and poetry
