Let’s check up on ourselves!

Editor: James 4:8 urges us to draw near to God, who in turn, will draw near to us. God wants us to do so before the “end of the world” comes when all wicked ones will be destroyed. Matthew 28:20b; Psalm 37:9, 10. The world is currently in a terrible state with Covid and other serious problems. The “end of the world” will come suddenly, according to 1 Thessalonians 5:2.  I therefore urge persons to follow God’s good advice recorded at 1 Timothy 2:4. There, God said that he wants persons to come to a knowledge of truth and be saved. God also tells us that we should “prove all things.” 1 Thessalonians 5:21. It is very important that persons examine the teachings in God’s Word the Bible and prove the truth for themselves. Learn the truth about the Creator, the Most High God Jehovah, and His Son, Jesus Christ. Psalm 83:18; John 17:3. Learn what Jehovah really wants you to do to please Him and His Son. Learn about the Gospel of the Kingdom, God’s government, that Jesus said will be preached about in all the world before the end comes. Matthew 24:14. Let us check up on ourselves before it is too late! If you do what God requires of you, then you can look forward to a bright future of enjoying everlasting life without problems. Psalm 37:11, 29; Revelation 21:4, 5.
