Treacherous Dealings – says the Lord: Judgment Proclaimed
EDITOR: The Lord is in his holy temple, the lLord’s throne is in heaven: His eyelids behold, his eyelids try, the children of men (Psalm 11:4)The eyes of the Lord God Elohim are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.
For the eyes of the Lord God Elohim run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong on the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Thus saith the Lord, My people know not the way of the Lord God Elohim, nor the judgment of their God: but these have altogether broken the Yoke, and burst the bonds.
Behold they trust in lying words that cannot profit. Why should you be stricken anymore? For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the Lord God Elohim, Creator of Heaven and earth.
They obeyed not my voice: they have refused to receive correction. They have made their faces harder than a rock, they drew not near to their God, they trusted him not, and they have refused to return. And though they say the Lord liveth, surely they swear falsely.
How shall I pardon thee for this?My children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: When I fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlot’s houses.
As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit, therefore they have become great, and waxen rich. They forsook their God Elohim who made them and lightly esteemed the Rock of their Salvation.
Their transgressions are many and their backslidings have increased. Shall I not visit for these things? Saith Elohim: and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the Lord. The prophets’ prophesy lies in my name. I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake I unto them. The priests bear rule by their means, they teach for hire, the heads thereof judge for reward and my people love to have it so.
They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: They judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper: and the right of the needy do they not judge. The people have made lies their refuge and under falsehood have they hid themselves. I have sent to them my messengers, because I have compassion on my people, but they mocked the messengers and despised the words of the Lord God Elohim.
They have belied the Lord, and said, it is not he: neither shall we see sword nor famine. Is not the Lord among us? None evil shall come upon us. Wherefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, because ye speak this word, behold I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people, wood, and it shall devour them.
Lo I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the Lord God Elohim: it is a mighty nation, It is an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say.
Their quiver is an open Sepulchre, they are all mighty men. And they shall eat up thine harvest, and thy bread which thy sons and thy daughters should eat: they shall eat up thy flocks and thine herds: they shall eat up thy vines and thy fig trees: ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it up. They shall impoverish thy fenced cities wherein thou trustedst with the sword.
For thus hath the Lord said, the whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end. I also will do this unto you: I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart. And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, wherefore doeth the Lord our God all these things unto us? Then shall the answer be: Like as ye have forsaken me and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in the land that is not yours. Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding: which have eyes, and see not: which have ears, and hear not.
Fear ye not me? Saith the Lord God Elohim: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail: though they roar, yet can they not pass over it? But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart: they are revolted and gone.
Neither say they in their heart, let us now fear the Lord God Elohim that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: He reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of harvest. The showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain.
Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you. For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.
This is one of a series of messages which the Holy One of Israel have commissioned me to publish on his behalf. For the words of The Lord God Elohim are pure words: As silver tried In a furnace of earth, purified seven times. (Psalm Ch. 12:1)Wendy WilliamsKeeper of the Watch
