God Almighty sets up presidents according to His purpose!

EDITOR: The heated debates on the recently concluded US elections may not end any time soon. The globalists’ agenda to set up a New World Order through demoralization has been stalled. Their deeply flawed candidate, Mrs Hillary Clinton, has lost. Her supporters around the world are peeved. To them, a man whom the media have presented as “anti-woman” and “non-presidential” has won.{{more}}

The majority of the American evangelical movement is delighted that a president who has pledged to uphold conservative values like the family, marriage, American nationalism and the rights of the unborn is heading to the White House. We, at the Independent Thusia Seventh-Day Adventist Church, wherever we are in the world, understand that God is allowing the way of the King of the North (symbolic of the Roman Catholic Papacy) to be opened to push back at the King of the South (symbolic of illuminist/globalism) against its immoral and anti-conscience behaviour that America has upheld by law over the years. This push is prophesied of in Daniel 11: 40. One thing is common among all – the 2016 US elections with Donald Trump emerging as the 45th president has been historic!

Sadly, there are some who deny the hand of God in the elections. “God has nothing to do with it”, they say. They believe Donald Trump is ‘wicked’, ‘racist’, ‘dotish’ and that God has nothing to do with his presidency. Others say, it has nothing to do with prophecy. They doubt, scoff and even mock when reminded that the Most High ruleth in the affairs of men. They seem too shocked, stunned and too ashamed to accept God’s workings. Nevertheless, whether the disbelievers want to accept it or not, it remains an eternal truth that “God is Judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another” (Psalm 75:7). No man – none of us is wiser than the Creator! He “changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings…” ( Daniel 2:21). And if one thinks that Trump is too wicked, that person ought to “…know that the Most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men” (Daniel 4:17).

YHWH’s authority and judgment should be submitted to, even when it goes against man’s ‘darling’ preferences. This submission to Divine administration makes us sound in our view of everything, including global political events. It guards against hypocrisy and a violated conscience. It is clear to me that had Mrs. Clinton won, the same persons who now shun the Bible truth that God set up whom he wants, may have embraced it. Such behaviour is unsound and it breeds desperation, as seen in the licentiousness by some anti-Trump rioters in America. They show contempt to YHWH’s working and fail to recognize that ” the powers that be are ordained of God”. He determines their ordination according to His will and purposes. Man’s biases, selfish agendas and convenient desires must take the back seat. God is in control, not frail humanity.
